The CIEH Preparing to Teach in The Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS) Course sets the minimum standard for all those in or entering the teaching, learning and development sector.
It introduces the knowledge and skills required by teachers to develop and deliver programmes, provide learning support and take responsibility in managing the learning process in post-16 education.
The course will be delivered in the Northwest over five days – 10th, 11th, 12th July 2012. The price is fully inclusive of all materials, refreshments and lunch.

The CIEH Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS) Conversion Course is aimed at those who those who already hold their CIEH Training Skills in Practice qualification and wish to convert it to a full PTLLS qualification.
Anyone wishing to attend the CIEH Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector Conversion Course must have evidence of prior completion of the CIEH Training Skills in Practice or the CIEH Professional Trainers Certificate.
The CIEH Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS) Conversion course will run on the 25th and 26th July 2012.

This CIEH Training Skills in Practice qualification which we are running in the Greater Manchester area of the Northwest is a train the trainer course aimed at those who want to develop practical training skills. The CIEH Training Skills in Practice is the minimum requirement for anyone wishing to register to deliver any CIEH qualifications in food safety, health and safety and environmental protection without public funding – for example, in the workplace.
The CIEH Training Skills in Practice Course, formally know as the Professional Trainers Certificate is also ideal for first-time trainers who need to understand the basics of training skills and practice or those looking to refine their training techniques. You will be assessed on your ability to deliver an effective and motivational 30 minute micro teach using your newly developed teacher training skills.
