The CIEH PTLLS training programme includes the CIEH Level 3 Award in Training Skills and Practice (TSP) which is the first three days of the course.
The CIEH PTLLS course is designed to be delivered in 30 hours of teaching time, not including breaks, and revision and practice sessions, with an additional 30 hours for assimilation, consolidation and assignment planning, development and submission.
The PTLLS course covers the following topics;
Understanding your own role, responsibilities and boundaries of role in relation to teaching;
Understanding appropriate teaching and learning approaches within a specialist area of your choice;
Demonstrating your ability to plan, deliver, observe and evaluate a micro-teaching session;
Understanding how to deliver inclusive teaching sessions that motivate learners;
Understanding the use of different methods used to assess learning and objectives met;
Understanding the need for accurate record keeping and procedures that can be implemented.
There are no formal entry requirements for candidates who want to undertake the CIEH Level 3 Award in PTLLS; however we will assess, and keep a record, of a candidate’s suitability for the CIEH PTLLS programme.
The CIEH Level 3 Award in PTLLS is assessed through one practical and two written assignments. All candidates will be fully supported in terms of their completion.
Delegates will receive a CIEH Level 3 Award in PTLLS Certificate.
Five Days
